Full Description
An Early Bronze Age flat axe from 'the Glen of the Glebe, Clova'. It was classified as Coles' type Ba and reclassified by Schmidt and Burgess as a flat axe of the Migdale type. The axe has a green patina and a rough surface. Its dimensions are: 14.5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide at the butt and 9 cm wide at the cutting edge. It is in Kingussie Museum.
