Full Description

A Middle Bronze Age flanged axe (class III) was found in this vicinity. It was corroded, pitted, porous, black, with incomplete cutting edge, slope stop, and damaged flanges. Length 114mm, butt 22mm, stop-height 2mm, cutting edge 52mm, weight 260 grams.
