Full Description
Flint arrowheads, the site depicted on the OS 1st edition map on which the area is annotated Flint Smithy. Situated on a natural slope, this is a small piece of rocky ground where numerous arrowheads 'appear to have been manufactured'. No trace of flints were observed during OS site visit in 1967 at which time the name Flint Smithy was not known locally.
