Full Description

Five pieces of flint waste and one possible small flint scraper. They were found in the base of a recently re-dug drainage ditch in an area containing hut circles and a field system (NJ83NE0032). A desk based assessment carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181) noted the site (S25) but did not record any further details, with the site located outwith the proposed development area.
