Full Description

Stone cup, found by Mr C. S. Temple, tenant of Cloisterseat farm, in the 19th century. It is roughly hewn, measuring 63 m diameter, 76 mm deep, and shaped like a tea-cup. Donated by Mr Temple to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS), now the Royal Museum of Scotland (RMS) in 1863 (Accession no: AQ 42).
