Full Description
Two stone axes, measuring 178 mm long by 64 mm wide found by Mr C. Temple circa 530m east north-east of Cloisterseat farmhouse in 1858. OS Name Book (1868) states that they are presumably among the material from his farm which he donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS), now the Royal Museum of Scotland. No further information.
