Full Description
Flints found while fieldwalking in a pre-forestry survey in 1990, including debitage, blades, cores and flakes. Very little is retouched but almost all flint found appeared to be flaked by man. In the northwest field (Field 1) most of the finds occurred on a gravelly stream bank (now a drain) in the east and south of the field. To the southeast (Field 3) there was a noticeable concentration of worked flint on the gravel bank to the west and south of the farm, with only a few pieces coming from the lower-lying clay soil in the rest of the field. The field to the southeast of the farm (Field 4) had been reinstated. No finds.
