Full Description
A number of stone artefacts have been found in the area around Shadowside farm, and are now in Inverurie Museum. Half a plain stone ball was donated by W. S. Meston in 1916. A stone axe was donated in 1894 by John Mannie. A collection of objects donated by Miss Duguid in 1968 comprised several worked flints, a polished stone axe, two stone balls, one with six large projecting knobs, the other with 60-70 small knobs, and a plain stone ball.
