Full Description
A cutting edge fragment of a copper alloy socketed axehead found during metal detecting. It was broken across the socket aperture in antiquity and much of the original surface is missing from one side. the maximum width of the cutting edge is 50.8mm. It is broadly dated to the Late Bronze Age.
