Full Description
A cinerary urn, which contained burnt human bones, was dug up in 1838 between Pitcaple House and the river Urie.. It was described by the New Statistical Account of 1845 as a 'Roman urn of baked clay', then in the possession of Lumsden of Pitcaple.
