Full Description
An urn, measuring 309 mm in diameter and 381 mm high, was found in this area in 1817 during the levelling of a small hillock which could have been a barrow. The urn was inverted and apparently decorated, and contained bones and burnt matter. It was broken by the workmen's picks. Its present whereabouts are unknown.
