Full Description
Projectile point of red/orange flint broken across its base. It was found along with a number of sherds of pottery from 17th to 19th century while digging in garden, during September 2000. The arrowhead is a transverse or chisel type which can be dated to the Late Neolithic period and is of a relatively rare type being made of local Buchan flint rather than imported.
