Full Description
Antler comb found in 1761, 5.79 m (19 feet) below Skipraw (Shiprow) Street (Way 1847). It is in the collections of the Society of Antiquaries of London. According to Macgregor (1982) the comb has a curving back and the angular-section of the side-plates ornamented with linked ring-and-dot motifs suggest an 11th-century date.
