Full Description

A flint collection gathered from the Bourtie area was donated to Inverurie museum by Mrs Duguid in 1925. It consisted of 17 leaf-shaped arrowheads (AD 87-92,94-100, 102-3,118,133), 8 triangular arrowhead (AD93,117,134-9) and 1 hollow-based arrowhead (AD 109). Three triangular (AD 110-112) and 1 leaf-shaped (AD 113) were also presented but their origin is not known.
