Full Description
Former station ticket office and waiting room dated 1896-9. Single storey weather boarded building with contrasting margins. Long elevations north (entrance) and south (platform) with slightly lower single bay flat roofed extensions (also weatherboard) at east and west gables. Two doors, irregular fenestration, 5 wide bays with slightly recessed 3 centre bays with panelled centre door. All windows with decorative glazing to upper lights. Piended slate roof with bracketed eaves, decorative red tile ridge and apex finials. Weatherboarded signal box with small lean-to porch at east gable approached by short flight wooded steps. Rear stack and piended slate roof with red tile ridge.
