Full Description

Part of a Class I Pictish symbol stone, lying in the edge of the river, identified in 2018 during particularly low water levels, and subsequently removed to the NMS. The stone, an apparently unshaped boulder, measures circa 1.6m by 0.6m by 0.3m. The symbols are orientated at various angles It has carvings of a triple disc with cross bar, a mirror, comb and a notched rectangle with two internal spirals.
