Full Description

Finds from Kildrummy Parish, for which locations of findspots are not known. They include: two stone whorls; a greenstone axe; two vitreous paste beads, striped yellow; 36 flint arrowheads including barbed, leaf and lozenge-shaped; a flint knife; a greenstone carved ball with 42 projecting knobs; a perforated armlet in claystone; a sandstone cup. The Aberdeen Press and Journal 17 February 1864 records John Milne exhibiting a knobbed stone to a meeting of rifle volunteers, ?at Kildrummy though no other details are given.
