Full Description
A lead spindle whorl, 28mm in diameter, convex on upper side and very slightly so on the under side. The upper side has a slightly raised moulding encircling the hole and six groups of four concentric semi-circles are placed at regular intervals round the edge. Apparently a similar design has occupied the underside, though only one group of concentric semi-circles is now visible.
