Full Description

Polished stone axe of rhyolite from Glencoe, the Lake District or North Wales. It is a regular sub-trapezoidal in shape, finished to a high polish. The blade and butt are battered. There are hafting marks on the sides. It measures 92mm in length, the width at widest point 48mm, the width across blade 44mm, maximum thickness 16mm, minimum 2mm and width across butt 20mm.
