Full Description

A small triangular-shaped stone axe, 96mm long and 38mm across cutting fac and a greyish flint arrowhead showing remains of a stem and barb, 76mm long, 64mm at widest point were presented to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland in 1865. Both were found near Tarland in the neighbourhood of a circle of upright stones (NJ40NE0016), which has now been removed. The exact find location is unknown.
