Full Description
Three sections of turf banks surviving at the edge of a forestry plantation and recorded during field survey in 2018 ahead of a proposed wind farm. The full length of the banks could not be established given dense planting. A sinuous earth bank runs for circa 220 m east-west. A 40 m length of bank runs circa northwest to southeast, A third section runs roughly north-south for circa 13 m. The banks have been truncated by forestry ploughing, but where evident they are generally well-preserved measuring circa 2.5 m wide and up to 1 m high.
