Full Description
Enlarged Food Vessel recovered during ploughing in January 1977. Cremation burial with perforated stone pendant and unburnt plano convex flint knife, clay or pottery ball with circular lines carved in it and three flint flakes two of which were burnt. The base was missing from food vessel, the rest of pot in three pieces. It had been inverted over cremation and set on small circular pavement of stone and chocked up with small stone beneath rim. No trace of any containing pit was found, and no indication in the surrounding ploughsoil of any cist-like features or cairn material.
