Full Description
It is a cremation burial containing a perforated stone pendant and an unburnt plano convex flint knife, a clay or pottery ball with circular lines carved into it, and three flint flakes two of which were burnt. The base was missing from the food vessel, and the rest of the pot was in three pieces. It had been inverted over the cremation and set on a small, circular pavement of stone, and chocked up with small stone beneath rim. No trace of any containing pit was found, and there was no indication in the surrounding ploughsoil of any cist-like features or cairn material.
