Full Description
Coins and other items found at various times (before 1867) in the field called Castle Croft. They include six silver and six copper coins, the former apparently of Edward I and Elizabeth. Copper coins indecipherable. Also 22 flint arrowheads, two military brass plates ( one bearing words 'Garioch Vounteers 40), a beautifully carved sword handle of bronze, and a polished stone axe measuring 178mm long by 89mm wide.
