Full Description
A circular sheepfold is depicted at this position on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. It is still in existence, and is depicted on the current edition. Field survey in 2018 ahead of a proposed wind farm recorded the tumbled remains of the sheepfold surviving on the edge of a forestry plantation. It measures circa 13 m by 11 m, defined by the remains of a drystone wall 0.75 m high and spread to circa 1 m wide.
