Full Description
Two finely polished axes of white flint and one of claystone were reportedly found in this vicinity. The claystone axe is of a common type tapering to a rounded buff. All three were deposited at NMS (formerly NMAS), but the claystone axe has since been lost. The axes measured: 254mm x 63mm, 184mm x 57mm, 145mm x 76mm.
