Full Description

Stone 'cup' made from a block of sandstone. It may be a socket stone for a door post. The block measures 203mm by 254mm, the centre hollowed to form a cup 139mm in diameter by 51mm deep. There were 5 deep grooves on the underside, as if used for sharpening tools. Found before 1898 while improving land.
