Full Description

A hoard of Late Bronze Age objects found in September 1894 by workmen digging a drain connected with the water supply at Cullerne. The hoard consisted of two spearheads, a socketed axe, socketed knife and a razor. Both spearheads have a circular tapering socket and leaf shaped blade: the larger spearhead was broken across the socket, the smaller nearly complete and measuring 13 cm in length and 2.85 cm across the blade. The axe, socketed and looped, measured 8.6 cm in length and 5.9 cm across the cutting blade.
