Full Description
Fieldwalking carried out in May 2012 as part of the Rekindle Kinloss project recovered a total of 230 artefacts. Circa 70 percent of the finds were pottery, mostly green lead glazed sherds, of 14th - 15th century date. Finds also included struck flints of prehistoric (possibly Neolithic date), and fragments of bottles. Further fieldwalking of a slightly expanded area was undertaken in March 2025. Finds included glass, ceramics, and one piece of flint.
