Full Description
A Middle Bronze Age Class III flanged axe from Dufftown. Flanged axe, rough, black and green, butt incomplete, flanges hammered where joining blade, blade cracked, possible signs of filing in flanges, hammered cutting edge, slope stop. Purchased for National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland in 1886.
