Full Description

Remains of a mid-19th century Mill and farm complex. Depicted on the 1st edition OS map as a rectangular building with a central U-shaped steading and L-shaped farmhouse to the south. A mill dam, sluice and mill lade lie to the northwest. On the 2nd edition, the mill building looks to have been enlarged and altered to a square form. The mill building is now gutted and its wheel has been removed, but the substantial mill dam is depicted on the current edition (2006) as a pond. The original farmhouse appears to survive but the steading is not depicted. 3 small rectangular buildings not depicted on the 1st or 2nd editions maps are shown as ruins.
