Full Description

Two stone balls. One, circa 98mm in diameter, was covered in small projecting knobs. It was in the collection of John Rae which was sold 1892, and a cast presented to NMAS. The other stone ball had 154 stone bosses. It was purchased from the 'Haughton House sale' for the NMAS, and is suggested to be probably from the Rhynie district.
