Full Description
Remains of a road and trackway system which served the shrunken crofting township of Auldtown Woodside. It is shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. Parts of the course of the road system is still visible on vertical aerial photographs taken in 1988. On these photographs there are parts defined by former avenues of tree planting, sections defined by field boundaries and the central section is metalled and still in use.
