Full Description
Site of a quarry depicted on the second edition OS map as an 'Old Quarry'. It is no longer used, but is still visible on the ground. A watching brief by CFA Archaeology during groundworks for water main replacement (NO87SW0242) noted only that the quarry along the route had been infilled.
