Full Description
An oval plantation enclosure, surrounded by a tumbled down wall, sits on a pronounced hillock on the south side of the River Dee. Within this enclosure, at its eastern end, are two smaller sub-circular enclosures surviving as low grass-covered stony banks The larger one is circa 19 m x 17 m with a gap in the bank on the east. Immediately to the west-southwest there is a second enclosure, 15.6 m by 11.5 m, with a gap on the southeast. A possible cairn lies near the eastern edge of the larger enclosure. It is partially grass-covered and has dominant views over the river to the east and west, so a good situation for a burial cairn.
