Full Description

Remains of quarries, quarry pits and an enclosure with earth bank and ditch. On a site visit in 11/00 nothing was visible apart from two slight hollows. A pre-forestry survey located four small quarry pits on a rocky knoll in the east of the area. These pits are 1-2m in diameter and up to 0.2m deep and are partly filled in.
