Full Description
Remains of a barrow and World War II pill-box. Recorded by J Sherriff during field survey in 1981. The possible barrow, 20m in diameter and 4m high, is surmounted by a smaller mound 8m in diameter by 0.7m in height. At the southern end the pillbox has been built into the mound. The pillbox was part of the defences for Douglas Wood radar station (NO44SE0057).
