Full Description

Remains of a turf-bank and clearance cairns. RCAHMS site visit 1999 noted a group of at least seven clearance cairns, the largest 5m in diameter, and an angled length of stony bank. The bank was not located during walkover survey by Alder Archaeology in March 2017 ahead of proposed hydro-electric scheme (NO36NW0082). A series of low mounds spreading north and northwest from NO3441368794 probably represented the cairnfield.
