Full Description
Cultivation Remains. An area of cultivation rigs 200m wide and 250m long lies on the lower parts of south-east facing ridge from Balnaboth Criag at the junction between Glen Prosen and Glen Tairie.The rigs on the west side of the ridge are aligned north-south down the south facing slopes of Glen Prosen, while the rigs to the east are aligned east-west down the east facing slopes of Glen Tairie.The rigs are well preserved, 0.3m high and 8-10m apart. Recorded by Headland Archaeology during a survey of the Balnaboth Estate in 1998.
