Full Description
Remains of a quarry depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. A smithy (NJ91SW0273) is shown north of the quarry on the 1st edition map. The main area of quarrying had moved north by the time of the 2nd edition map which also shows several buildings, including a new smithy and two cranes. See also NJ91SW0269 and NJ91SW0271 for additional areas of quarrying.
