Full Description
Remains of an area of rig and furrow. Recorded by field survey of Forestry Commission woodlands ahead of forestry operations. There is an extensive area of rigs running roughly northwest to southeast with a wavelength of circa 6m. It is not clear if these are the rigs shown on the mid 18th century Roys map. A 1768 estate map shows this area of rigs overlain by woodland.
