Full Description
Burnt Mound. Recorded by the RCAHMS during field survey in 2004, it measured 9.5 m by 6.7 m, and stood up to 1 m in height. There was a hollo in the east side measuring 2.2 m across. Walkover survey in 2021 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NO27NE0056) recorded this as a crescent shaped mound with a clear dipped interior measuring 2.503 m internally. some other prominent mounds were noted to the northeast but with no indication of features on them.
