The line opened in 1831, closed to passengers in 1955 and was closed to all traffic in 1967. This section consists of an embankment at its north end. Two bridges carry roads underneath the trackbed (NO24SE0084 and NO24SE0085). The southern portion of the trackway is a cutting which is crossed by a footbridge and aqueduct.
