Full Description
Remains of castle. Apart from a very irregular grass-covered mound, there is now no trace of a castle and no local information. This site, traditionally that of a castle may be associated with Robert Corbet, who, probably during the reign of David I (1124-1153) granted the lands of Lethnot to Kinloss Abbey. The old castle of 'Luchnot' (Lethnot/Lichnet) is mentioned in 1722.
