Full Description
Remains of a mound which the New Statistical Account (1845) records as having stood until 'a few years ago in the immediate vicinity of the church'. OS in 1967 noted that there was no trace, but there is a natural turf-covered mound, with a sunken track along its southeast side, which may have been the mound in question. (This may be a confusion with NJ96SW0033.) Possibly a motte (NQB).
