Full Description
Remains of a cairnfield and rig and furrow. RCAHMS site visit 2002 recorded at least 38 cairns in rough pasture, measuring up to 4m in diameter. The rig and furrow was identified from aerial photography and subsequently recorded during RCAHMS site visit in 2002. It is of various alignments (some north-south and others east-west) and breadths. The rig is truncated to the east-southeast by a large conifer plantation and on the west-northwest by improved fields. The rigs peter out on the north-northeast and south-southwest in former moorland.
