Full Description

Remains of possible cairn, or motte. It comprises a large grass and bracken covered mound on sloping ground in the west extremity of a wood, now partially cleared. It is composed of earth and a considerable amount of stones. The top of the mound and its northeast segment have been quarried away. An urn was found in 1887. It is a possible cairn, though very large for a cairn, or may be a motte.
