Full Description
Remains of mounds and a minor field system. Six or seven low stony mounds and a low curving bank are all that remain of this probable field system. There is no sign of the larger mounds to West, which may have been destroyed by forestry activity. Depicted as 'tumuli' on 1st edition OS map. Probably linked to settlement remains recorded to the south (NJ94NE0007). The eastern part of the site was also used for horse markets during the 19th Century (NJ94NE0051).
