Full Description
Linear ditch recorded by AOC Archaeology during a walkover survey in 2023 (NJ84NW0115). The broad linear ditch, under grass, measured approximately 2 - 3 m wide and approximately 40 m long, and is aligned north to south The gradually sloping sides measured approximately 0.3 to 4 m deep. It leads downhill to the south towards a drainage ditch that feeds the Little Water stream course, and could possibly be a former open cut drainage ditch that has since silted up.
