Full Description

Remains of spade rigs within a small embanked enclosure. On the north side of Brimmond Hill, west of Aberdeen, several areas of early agriculture can be seen including narrow spade rigs and wider rig and furrow (see also NJ80NE0038). The area of spade rigs are aligned roughly east-northeast to west-southwest. They were recorded from an aerial photograph (NJ80N 2794038, flown 1978).
