Full Description

Area of rectangular stepping covering 50 m x 33 m on a southwest-northeast orientation which lies within the garden depicted on the 1788 House Farm plan. A former head gardener describes a tennis court in this location dating from the early 20th century. There is also a human-made island at NJ 7253 1262 measuring 42 m x 22 m x 1 m. This is located on the site of a lake shown on the 1816 Home Farm plan.
